Oasis Counselling Service

At Oasis we offer in-person adult counselling support for the local community*.

* Our service is available for residents of EH4, EH5 and parts of EH12 and EH3

All of our counsellors are members of COSCA, Scotland’s professional body for counselling and psychotherapy (or similar), and have completed or are working towards a Diploma in Counselling (or higher qualification).   Our counsellors are Christian, but our service is open to those of any faith or none. We have several counsellors, all trained in working alongside clients with issues around grief, anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, unwanted behaviours and more.  We have two counsellors available for couples counselling. We usually have a waiting list, and we are open Tuesday (9am-7pm), Wednesday (9am-5pm) and Thursday (9am-8pm).

Oasis is located in a fully accessible cottage in the church grounds. If you have questions, please contact us on our separate confidential phone line 07480 997280 or email oasis@dmpc.org.uk. Further information is available in our leaflet here. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please complete the form below.

Our waiting list is now open to daytime clients.  Our evening waiting list will remain closed for the time being. You may find evening availability privately through counselling-directory.org.uk.

Some helpline numbers are included below the referral form.
